Today I want to share with you my ketogentic diet weight loss one month results.  Drum roll please…I am officially down 8.6lbs and I feel amazing.

This has been a great journey.  I know that I am no where near done. In reality, I am just beginning. But so far it’s been good.  I am happy overall with my results. It appears that combining the keto program with intermittent fasting is giving me my best results.

My Kegotgentic Diet Weight Loss One Month Results Logs

One of the things that I have been doing is logging my weight each week and the results have been as follows:

  • Starting Weight – 205.2
  • Week One Weight  – 203.2
  • Week Two Weight – 201.2
  • Week Three Weight – 199.2
  • Week Four Weight – 198.2

Start of Week Five Weight – 196.6 (It feels good to be so far away from 200 lbs, but I will be happier when I can say that I am 10-12 away from 200lbs.

People Are Starting to Notice My Keto Weight Loss

The highlight of this experience has been the fact that people are starting to notice the weight loss. Yesterday someone asked me if I was losing weight and I was proud to say, “Yes.”

Also, the one thing that has shocked me the most about this experience has been the difference in Body Fat. My body fat percentages were over 53% and today it is 42%.

That’s 10% less than when I started and that is incredible.  Normally, I will lose muscle, but this time I am shedding fat.  I guess this is why they call it the Fat Burning Fat program.

What Shocked Me The Most About Keto

The other day I was watching Impact Theory on Youtube and Dom D’agostino was on it and he began to discuss the benefits of Keto.  Dom D’agostino is the King of Keto.  He spoke about Keto and the impact on the brain.  His information explains why I feel so good and clear.  Following the Keto protocol positively impacts brain function and has a positive impact on Alzheimer’s.

Dom D’agostino’s website is Ketonutrition.org and contains good information on ketosis and it’s impact on the body.  After watching the interview, I am convinced that this particular program is more than right for me.

Discovering Keto Snacks

I have also discovered some awesome Keto snacks.  My absolute favorite are Fat Snax. I purchased the box from Amazon and my favorite cookie has been the Lemon cookies.  They taste so good.

I also like Cauliflower crackers, even though they have a lot more carbs than I originally thought.  My favorite are the Nacho flavored ones.

I try not to eat to many processed foods, but every now and then I like to have something crunchy and something sweet.  So far these two snacks give me the most satisfaction.

Eating Out On Keto

Surprisingly, I have been able to eat out with no problem at all.  As it turns out, most salad dressings are low in carbs and high in fat, which means they’re the perfect keto food.  Therefore, I am able to enjoy wonderful salads when I go out to eat.

If I don’t have a salad, I can order a meat, fish or chicken dish with vegetables and not starchy sides like rice or potatoes.  I’ve eaten out a lot while on Keto.  I’ve had grilled nuggets from Chik-fil-a, Southwest Salads from McDonald’s with grilled chicken and so much more!   None of this has ruined my program or taken me drastically out of ketosis.

It is because of this I am convinced that this is a program that I can definitely follow for life.  I am committed to the program.
